This also happens when you choose to shutdown inside a session and another user is logged in. Then instead of shutting down you are only logged out. This really sucks. Because I trust my computer to shutdown when I click shutdown. Its pretty common for me (I think my touchpad is a little wierd handling mouse presses). I run into it nearly every day and it drives me crazy :( Is there any way we can fix it? The look of empathy is the reason for me to stick with Pidign. Why does Empathy allow Chat theming but not theming of the status icon and buddy list for example? I mean seriously a green circle in my status bar can be anything. How should a normal user know that that is the instant messenger?
