Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Description:Ubuntu lucid (development branch)
Release:10.04

nautilus:
  Installed: 1:2.29.92.1-0ubuntu2

As of the March 20, 2010, update, the nautilus panels, desktop icons
will not load on startup. I've tried to run nautilus manually (somehow
Docky is still loading) to no avail. This message pops up in the
terminal:

[Bug 542397] Re: Nautilus crashes: Segmentation fault (core dumped)

2010-03-20 Thread kareem
I'm duplicate Bug #542445 and I'm pretty sure that Bug #542438 is having
the same issue as us, but since this is my first bug report I'm afraid
to mark it as a duplicate. Bug #542438 seems to have a lot more
attachments for this issue.

I found out that ths bug was caused by an incomplete update to edgy
(stupid me!). It should be deleted or marked as inaccurate.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

[Bug 79454] Re: import vte not working for python-vte

2007-01-18 Thread Kareem Kenawy
hmm, after some tinkering, i managed to add /usr/lib/python-support to
the sys.path permanently. Now importing vte makes python segfault right
away.
