[Bug 1200309] [NEW] Spell Check not working in Empathy

2013-07-11 Thread Keith Clark
Public bug reported:

Running Empathy 3.4.2.3 on Ubuntu 12.04 the program does not seem to
spell check any more. English has been selected. On another machine
running Empathy 3.6.4 under Ubuntu 13.04 it works. When a word is
misspelled, it underlines it in red. On version 3.4.2.3 it does nothing
at all when a word is misspelled.

[Bug 850195] Re: Document Viewer 2.32.0 (Evince) prints a blank page

2013-06-07 Thread Keith Clark
This printing is done over the network (internet connection actualy).

Local printer prints find using Ubuntu 13.04.

Remote printer can print other documents, just not pdf files. Only
blank pages result.

This also happens to me. On one machine running 12.04, it will print a
blank page. On another machine running 12.10 it prints properly.

[Bug 1077117] [NEW] Cannot send a file from Empathy to Empathy

2012-11-09 Thread Keith Clark
Public bug reported:

Cannot send a file from Empathy 3.4.2.3 running on Ubuntu 12.04 to
another user running Ubuntu 10.04 and Empathy.

Can receive though the other way around!

I open 'ContactSend File' and then a window pops up so I can select a
file to send. I select a file and hit the Send button. Nothing ever
happens after that. No error, no request to recieve on the intended
recipient's machine. I started Empathy via command line and still no
errors/feedback.

[Bug 946915] Re: [color]: gnome-control-center crashed with SIGSEGV in cd_client_connect_finish()

2012-06-09 Thread Keith Clark
Should note that this is actually in 12.10, not 12.04 as reported.
Also, the 'Display' section of Control Centre also does nothing at the
moment.

Another issue is that when I try to close the Control Centre, it just
restarts itself. Over and over again, until it crashed when I tried to
select 'Colour'.

[Bug 41985] Re: Openoffice won't open files using sftp:// in read-only mode

2008-05-08 Thread Keith Clark
Problem exists for me as well in Ubuntu 8.04. I cannot open a file via
sftp. It asks for my password twice and then gives a General Internet
Error. I've gotten around this by running Open Office Calc via a ssh
session, but this is a very slow way and taxing on my server.

Thanks,
