[Bug 311614] Re: If DPI in X != DPI in Gnome, document dimensions are not true at 100% zoom
Dimitrios, I think the latter: "x.dpi=gnome.dpi' . Or at least, the user should be able to configure GNOME to use the X Windows DPI at any time, without manually looking up what the X Windows DPI is and entering the same number into the GNOME configuration. A GNOME DPI setting should really be for emergency use only, not normal use. [Bug 521381] [NEW] Pressing the up arrow responds as if PrintScreen were pressed instead
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center In Gnome on Lucid Lynx. Logged into an account with gnome settings originating from Karmic Koala. 105-key International keyboard. Multiple layouts tested. Pressing the Up arrow key, "↑", causes a Screen Shot to be taken as if the Print Screen key were pressed. Changing the short cut key for a screen capture to a different key and then back to Print Screen fixed the problem. The up arrow now functions correctly. Perhaps this is a bug present when upgrading Gnome versions from Karmic Koala to Lucid Lynx. [Bug 510787] [NEW] Delete key during in place Rename in File Browser trashes file first
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus When performing an in place Rename without using the properties window for a file: the initial press of the delete key moves a file into Trash. Subsequent presses delete text of the name. Upon completing the rename, Nautilus sometimes informs the user that the file is no longer present and other times does not. Since the user intends to delete text and the moving of the file to Trash is unintentional and somewhat hidden, this can lead to data loss. If there were a way to disable use of the in place renaming and force use of the properties window through configuration, that would be a workaround. This was tested on Nautilus 2.28.1 .
