[Bug 861443] Re: There is no easy way to change proxy settings in Ubuntu 11.10

2012-06-04 Thread Little Jawa
Still no way to set exceptions to proxy settings in the network applet
in 12.04.

I would also add that with the previous network settings GUI, we had the
possibility to create profiles for proxy settings. It was quite useful when
you worked regularly at different locations, each with different network
proxy... You just had to select the corresponding profile and everything
worked. Now you have to change your settings manually each time you move to
another location.
Looks like a regression to me :-(

[Bug 806934] [NEW] Mouse properties option Trigger secondary click by holding down the primary button doesn't work

2011-07-07 Thread Little Jawa
Public bug reported:

When going into the mouse properties and selecting the accessibility feature
Trigger secondary click by holding down the primary button, then trying to
click anywhere else, nothing happens.
The secondary click is never triggered, whatever time I keep the main button

Verified on Natty, on both x86 and x64 platforms, using Unity or Gnome
layout.

No, it doesn't. Nothing happens.
Reading on some forums, it seems I'm not the only one seeing that, and that it
worked up to Maverick, but broke with Natty.
I could not verify with Maverick myself - I did not need it up to now.

[Bug 246251] Re: Calendar Contacts Birthdays Anniversaries forgets displaying birthdays

2008-11-11 Thread Little Jawa

Same here, with Ubuntu Hardy Heron.
Did not solve with the upgrade to Intrepid Ibex.

The contacts that are shown seems random. Those that don't appear are coming
up when I edit their information, and disappear again after the next reload.
Most of my contacts have a birthday after 1/1/70.

I'm still searching for a link between those that appear, or those that
don't appear, to try to understand what causes this, but it really seems
random.

Note : I'm using SynCE synchronization tools to have contacts and
calendar synchronized with my mobile. Does anybody else having this bug
do this kind of synchronization (or with a Palm, an iPod or anything) ?
