[Bug 1731888] Re: right-click menu on the terminal gets broken when terminal window is maximized
It happens to me too. I noticed that it happens when I maximize the gnome-terminal window, but not always: right now, I have another gnome-terminal, maximized, with 3 tabs, and the right-click (contextual) menu works well. I also noticed that, when maximized and "demaximized" again, the right- click menu shows with more space than needed (as shown in the attachment). ** Attachment added: "Menu with big borders" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1731888/+attachment/5023017/+files/mnu.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1731888 Title: right-click menu on the terminal gets broken when terminal window is maximized To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1731888/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1181666] Re: gnome-shell randomly blocks mouse clicks from working in app windows
I have the same issue in Ubuntu 17.10 (Wayland). I was using Netbeans, Chrome and a VirtualBox VM running Windows 10. It seemed that the VirtualBox grabbed the mouse, but it has mouse integration, and the actions bar and activities were clickable. I couldn't resolve it by switching to another virtual terminal, neither by running "gnome-shell -r" on a gnome-terminal (it said: (gnome- shell:5963): mutter-WARNING **: Can't initialize KMS backend: Could not get session ID: No such file or directory). So, I had to close everything and logout and login again. It worked. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181666 Title: gnome-shell randomly blocks mouse clicks from working in app windows To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-shell/+bug/1181666/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 216250] Re: contact-lookup-applet doesn't accept input
I have my system Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron up to date, and contact-lookup- applet is working now for me. -- contact-lookup-applet doesn't accept input https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 216250] Re: contact-lookup-applet freezes - not working at all (Gutsy Hardy)
There is not a backtrace. The program does not crash. It is working, but not accepting keyboard input. The text area of contact-lookup-applet does not get focus. When I try to write in it, the application that is in the front of the other windows (e.g.: Gedit, Terminal, OpenOffice) receive the text. If I copy a name from gedit (or another program), I can paste it on contact-lookup-applet by right-clicking it and selecting Paste, but when I press Enter to start the search, the application that is in front receive the Enter. For me, it works when I disable compiz (From System - Preferences - Appearance, Visual Effects - None). -- contact-lookup-applet freezes - not working at all (Gutsy Hardy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 216250] Re: contact-lookup-applet freezes - not working at all (Gutsy Hardy)
I am using Gutsy, and I have the same problem with contact-lookup- applet. I think this is something wrong with Compiz Fusion. When I disable Compiz, contact-lookup-applet works again. -- contact-lookup-applet freezes - not working at all (Gutsy Hardy) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to contact-lookup-applet in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
