This also happens to my friend when mounting my usb hard drive(ext3). It never
failed before 11.04, and it worked on 11.04 a while ago.
Looks like it has something to do with the fstab file not having a UUID for the
/ mount point, as described at

Yeah, i got this one too. It is impossible to burn a video or audio project,
but it seems that i can burn data and iso files. I have tried this with two
dvd-recorders and the media is dvd+rw and dvd-r.
A complete removal - re-installation of brasero did not fix this issue.

Is this happening in Hardy up-to-date? Intrepid?
Please have a look in the logs and see if there is something related to
the crash, and post the related lines. Or attach the complete logs if
you like. Look especially in /var/log/syslog, /var/log/messages etc, and
also in .~/xsession-errors.

I tried copy-paste the link into firefox adressbar, and totem(not the

The link

fail in vlc and mplayer as well.
The verbose output from vlc shows that the connection is successful but it
doesn't seem to understand what type of stream it is. It seems confused.

If you look at the properties of the items you'll see that the commands
are different from each other. So, you can have several entries in your
menu, but they will start brasero in different modes.
I fail to see this as a bug, so i will close this report. (it can be re-
opened if need be).

Yeah, you are right. The more i think of it the more i agree with you.
It wouldn't look to good with 6 or 7 entries of pidgin and transmission
either, so why is there 5 brasero?

eog applet can't view ubuntu 8.10 standard wallpaper warty-final-ubuntu.png
Looking at the image properties it says the image type is actually jpeg (The
JPEG image format).
So, the image has a bad filename, it should be warty-final-ubuntu.jpg
instead. After that eog will open the file without problems.
