Finally, the configuration that was giving me problems was not the
Photo, but the synchronization with IM clients (I enabled the two
simultaneously, but forgot to disable that one).
Disabling the IM sync made the problem dissappear.

I had the same problem. I used the sevmek to update to 3.2.6 (and
checked the version).
The program still freezes on hangup, just as mainstream package did.
It seems that it asks for the sound system to close, but waits forever.
