I can't start a conversation with any of my contacts. I cannot change my
status and also, after exiting and re-entering with my hotmail id i
cannot even see my contacts.

Thanks for the reply..
Yes! The first thing that happened was that I could see my contacts but
when clicking on them nothing was happening. Then I changed my status
from empathy (I cannot change it from the icon on top-right corner at
the panel) and I still was clicking but nothing...
I disabled
Wow! For now it is fixed by itself!
