Currently, if I resize a terminal window with text content that wraps, the text
block size stays. The reason for resizing a terminal window with wrapping
content is 99% of the time because I want to reflow the text, to which the only

Is it just me, or is it complete usability madness to allow moving the
scrollbar to the left side of the window? Also, allowing to disable it
altogether seems equally non-standard.
What is the rationale for this behaviour?
My suggestion
So, this is now implemented in gnome-terminal, will it automatically be
included in an upcoming upgrade of Ubuntu?

List/icon view setting should be per window, not per folder

I find it kind of irritating that the list/icon view setting is per
folder in nautilus. If I want to browse a deep folder structure that I
have never visited before in list mode (or icon mode) I have to change
view mode for each new folder I

editors and similar. I've never understood the block type cursor found
in many terminal applications.
