I have the same problem, using Rhythmbox 0.9.5 on Dapper. My music is on a FAT32 partition. Files that I have deleted are noticed as missing, but no new files are added. ~ rhythmbox --version Gnome rhythmbox 0.9.5 I can't check this with the newest Rhythmbox on Edgy at the moment, unfortunately.
