[Bug 902521] [NEW] Location bar sometimes covers file names
Public bug reported: Location bar in Nautilus is placed over some of the file names which makes them completely unusable. You can see this at the bottom of screen shoot (last line of files.) It is also hard to rename any of G3, G4, G5 files/directories because of lack of visibility of their names. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bar location nautilus visibility -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/902521 Title: Location bar sometimes covers file names To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/902521/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 456501] Re: Nautilus doesn't show shares with names more than 12 characters in length when browsing
I confirm that I have the same problem with samba and Nautilus. smbtree -U user //server shows up everything (every samba share) but Nautilus doesn't. I can enter share's name manually into Location bar in Nautilus and that works for me.
