[Bug 1964442] [NEW] [jammy Regression] signing a changes file in gnome-terminal sends keys to the terminal

2022-03-09 Thread Matthias Klose
Public bug reported:

This is a regression not seen until this week (not seen until March 4 at
least). Calling debsign from a terminal pops up the window to enter the
key, but the terminal is sent continuous keys and the terminal
scrolls down with empty input lines. You can still sign the file,
however you end up with an empty scroll buffer if the signing takes too
long time.

[Bug 1848766] [NEW] xubuntu still pulls in Python2 via the python-gtk2-dev b-d in libappindicator

2019-10-18 Thread Matthias Klose
Public bug reported:

xubuntu still pulls in Python2 via the python-gtk2-dev b-d in
libappindicator. We don't want to have Python2 anymore in seeds and
images. So either xubuntu should stop using libappindicator, or
libappindicator should provide Python3 packages.

[Bug 1836100] Re: Was able to migrate out of proposed despite breaking dmks

2019-07-10 Thread Matthias Klose
so how should we glib2.0 stop migrating to the release pocket, when
synced from experimental, and breaking builds?

No, this is not a gcc thing. But the kernel 5.2 now finally getting
built in eoan, and not binary copied from disco as done for 5.0.

Blocking packages for having some build failures is not the thing we are
currently doing.

[Bug 1821365] [NEW] font size of the Top Bar should be resizable

2019-03-22 Thread Matthias Klose
Public bug reported:

The font size of the Top Bar should be resizable. On a hiDPI screen
3200x2000, if you don't want to use scaling, then you can choose bigger
font sizes for everything in Gnome, except for the Font Bar. Or at
least document a setting how to do that via the command line.

[Bug 1770871] Re: [MIR] libcue

this looks ok from the packaging side.
It's a little bit odd that the package is orphaned in Debian, and now pulled
into main.

2018-11-22 Thread Matthias Klose
this looks ok, besides the missing test run. The debian/rules file says:

  # not to be run, removes compiled files
  override_dh_auto_test:

So probably this should be run as an autopkg test with the build-
required restriction.
