The problem was with 'ARC menu' shell extension. As you said just disabling is not enough and I do need to uninstall it. Public bug reported: this is the error that eccur when i want to open my software drive unavle to access to Software Error mounting /dev/sda6 at /media/mehdi/Softwares: Command-line `mount -t ntfs -o uhelper=udisks2,nodev,nosuid,uid=1000,gid=1000,dmask=0077,fmask=0177 /dev/sda6 /media/mehdi/Softwares' exited with non-zero exit status 13: $MFTMirr does not match $MFT (record 3). Failed to mount '/dev/sda6': Input/output error NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g. /dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation for more details. i tried to do a checkdisk in Windows but at 5% of check disk my sys restarts suddenly!!! also i had repeating sudden restarts when i wanted to install Ubuntu and know some time it accures. by the way in boot options there is 2 Windows but i have one windows 7!!! In python 2.7 you can import zeitgeist with no error, but in python 3 you will get import error. I use socks proxy now and then, and I have encounter the exact problem several times. I can confirm the bug, yet I'm not sure if it's occurring only when using socks proxy. The panel failed to start. Icons on the desktop kept moving up and down, and this indicated that the panel was partially starting, reserving the space at the top of the screen, end exiting continuously. I killed the panel process. Suddenly it appeared, displaying a message that an applet was crashing. It asked me to delete the applet. I did. The panel has worked flawlessly since then. I rebooted the system and I have been working for 30 minutes now without any bug. But I still need more time to confirm the bug is completely gone. In some cases it appeared after 3 or 4 hours of use. Same problem here. Ubuntu 10.10 RC. I have USA and Persian keyboard layouts. I filed a bug here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/656988 because I was not sure it's a duplicate of this bug. My friends using Arch and Gentoo are also reporting similar problems, so the problem might not be distro-specific. Some people told me this bug has been fixed in Xorg 1.9.2.
