 Can't reproduce in gedit 3.3.3, is this still an issue?

Will check as soon as the package appears in Ubuntu.

[Bug 874128] Re: gedit snippets cannot be renamed

2011-11-01 Thread Michal Rudolf
Fixed by upgrading python-gobject to 3.0.0-0ubuntu4. F2 still doesn't
work, but clicking does.

[Bug 855100] Re: python plugins not working

Same here. Also, even opening local subtitles doesn't work for DVDs. I
don't know if this is related, so I am waiting for this bug to be fixed
first.

[Bug 874134] [NEW] snippets delete selected text with non-ascii characters

2011-10-14 Thread Michal Rudolf
Public bug reported:

$GEDIT_SELECTED_TEXT variable used in snippets does not work correctly for
non-ascii characters.
For example, the standard LaTeX macro:

{\\${1:bf} $GEDIT_SELECTED_TEXT}

works correctly for 'alpha' text, giving:
{\bf alpha}

but for any utf-8 sequence, like 'głąb' deletes the selected text, producing
{\bf }

if gedit is run from the terminal, the following message appears:
Token class not supported: environment
