Regarding my previous comment, it seems I must've restarted the process
before the upgrade taking effects. After restarting Firefox, I can copy-
paste from and into it.

After upgrading to proposed packages, I can also confirm that unfortunately the
bug is still present. But its effects are much less than previous.
I copied an image from Telegram and I was unable to paste it in Firefox (in a
textbox where I could paste to it usually). However, I could paste it

it's more like just a case that needs handling, the ftp protocol it self - i
think- doesn't check if the destination file exists or not, it's the ftp
client's job to make sure that the file doesn't exist before

I have a same problem when trying to burn ubuntu-10.04.1-amd64.iso to cd. I had
3 burn failure!!
I use ubuntu 10.10 and brasero 2.32.0 . the burn speed is low(16x) and the

System - Preferences - Preferred Applications.
In the 'Internet' tab, under Web Browser, choose Open link in new tab.This
sets the command as `firefox -new-tab %s`.
Make sure all firefox windows are closed.
