Public bug reported: Binary package hint: eog Intrepid Alpha6 fully updated. When you have just installed ubuntu, you don't usually have the rights to mount volumes. Eog does nothing when you want to open a folder, in this case a volume, that is not mounted and which you don't have rights to mount (yet). The expected behaviour should be running policykit. [Bug 76516] p7zip-full as dependence in file-roller
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: file-roller **Wishlist** file-roller can't open a .7z file without installing the 'p7zip-full' package. It can become hard to guess for a novice user because the window dialog only says FORMAT NOT SUPPORTED. IMO file-roller should install it as dependence or inform that you have to install it (in the same window dialog).. or AT LEAST include this package as suggestion.
