PPS:I tried using an old ati-branded hd5450 (or something) to POST on instead, the presence of the 1070 (with no display plugged in) was enough to make autologin not work. Removing the 1070 and only using the ati card brought me to a desktop. -- You received this bug notification because you are

I had this bug in 19.10, just uninstalled Nvidia driver and used nouveau, however I just clean installed 20.04, forgot about the bug and ran into it again. This time I had time to mess around, and ended up updating my bios from f40 to f50a which solved the issue for some reason. (GA-AB350M-Gaming
