[Bug 183514] Re: [hardy] seahorse agent no longer asks for the passphrase

2008-10-29 Thread Norbert Hartl
For me it doesn't work. Invoking everything on the shell just asks for
things ssh does anyway. I have an env variable SSH_AUTH_SOCK that points
to a keyring thing in /tmp. Trying to force a dialog by invoking stuff
via ALT+F2 (no display) I onyl get a dialog for sides where I can enter
a password. For passphrase stuff it is just silently failing

[Bug 162831] Re: system preference sessions unchecked items still appear in session file

2008-09-11 Thread Norbert Hartl
I'm using intrepid ibex alpha 5 (plus updates). I'm having tracker
disabled in the preferencessession menu. But at every system start
trackerd gets started as well. As far as I remember I didn't have
trouble with this in hardy. So I reopen this as a new bug.

I forgot to mention that there is a .config/autostart/trackerd.desktop

[Bug 162831] Re: system preference sessions unchecked items still appear in session file

2008-09-11 Thread Norbert Hartl
Why not? For me it is the same problem. What does the information about
the rewrite change? There is a problem which is there regardless the
fact if it has been reintroduced by patch or by rewrite. And it is
exactly the same problem as described in this report. I can't find any
version information in this ticket and I can't possibly know about a
rewrite. So what is your suggestion again? Closing the bug without
reopening another one that fits you better? That means, I have to wait
for the next rewrite and hope that the bug won't be reintroduced then?

[Bug 183514] Re: [hardy] seahorse agent no longer asks for the passphrase

2008-04-07 Thread Norbert Hartl
I have seahorse 2.22.0 and I can see a lot of ssh keys in my personal
keys tab.

I like to refer to the original bug title. Although I can see my ssh
keys I'm not being asked for passphrases if they are needed.

I'm trying to connect via ssh to a certain host. I can see the key for
this host in my personal keys tab of seahorse. And seahorse-agent is
running. I only get a permission denied (public key).

I don't have a file 90gpg-agent and seahorse-agent is running x-session-
manager

[Bug 183136] Re: Error while Storing folder apos;INBOXapos;

2008-02-17 Thread Norbert Hartl
No, I don't. The imap folders are fully accessable. But in the meantime
I don't have the error anymore. I bought a new laptop one week ago and
installed a fresh OS. I also did not copy any of my settings from the
old laptop. I'm using the new computer now for 4 days and didn't
experience the problem until now.

[Bug 183136] Re: Error while Storing folder apos;INBOXapos;

2008-02-07 Thread Norbert Hartl
Yes, I get them on a regular base. Removing the summary* files in the
INBOX folder (or another corrupted folder) heals it for some time. But
it comes back after one or two days.

Could it be that this is kind of a language/locale problem?

Hi,

everything went fine until now. Now I get the error again. What would be
the best way to generate debugging info? Or is there any hint what gets
corrupted.

Thanks, Norbert

[Bug 183136] Error while Storing folder apos;INBOXapos;

2008-01-15 Thread Norbert Hartl
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I upgraded to Hardy Heron two days ago. Since then I have problems
working with evolution. The symptoms are that I can get mail via imap
but filtering, moving etc. is not possible.

I get an error 'Error while Storing folder apos;INBOXapos;'

I removed the complete ~/.evolution/mail/imap/ directory. After that it
fetched all emails again and filtering succeeded. Shortly after it
doesn't. Next try was to remove cmeta and every index file from the
INBOX. This let me filter my inbox for most of the emails in INBOX. But
only once.

What I can see is that after removing the index the bottom shows

Storing folder 'Inbox'

and shortly after that

Error while Storing folder apos;INBOXapos;

Is it that the folder name gets corrupted or is this just an error
displaying the error message

[Bug 183136] Re: Error while Storing folder apos;INBOXapos;

2008-01-15 Thread Norbert Hartl
Did a quick check with another account. I discovered no problem. Then I
removed my complete .evolution dir but this didn't help. Now I have
removed the account and the evolution directory and recreated the
account. Looks better now. But it is just 10 Minutes ago. I'll drop a
notice if I get the problem again.

Thanks for your help.
