[Bug 1108637] Re: backspace key no longer works in nautilus

2013-10-29 Thread Ondřej Buriánek
Huge annoyance :(
behaivor should be configurable: OLD (backspace + go to name by letter) vs
NEW  (start search by letter)

[Bug 1010462] [NEW] Changing XDG_TEMPLATES_DIR rapidly slows nautilus start

2012-06-08 Thread Ondřej Buriánek
Public bug reported:

When i set in user-dirs.dirs
XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR=$HOME/doc
XDG_TEMPLATES_DIR=$HOME/doc
nautilus hangs for few seconds when starting

This setting works flawlessly
XDG_DOCUMENTS_DIR=$HOME/doc
XDG_TEMPLATES_DIR=$HOME/

Hope it narrows down source of the problem

Anyway, thanks for explanation... the misconfiguration was only by
lazyness :)

[Bug 379183] Re: nautilus Unique-DBus-WARNING

2010-01-24 Thread Ondřej Buriánek
I have successfully reproduced (and also resolved). In my case bug appeared
when using application called Ubuntu Tweak by unchecking option Show desktop
icons in Desktop Icon Settings section. Reverting original settings resolved
this issue.

[Bug 192508] Re: mouse keys turns on randomly

2009-11-20 Thread Ondřej Buriánek
Hello fellow earthlings daily beaten by this bug.

I used this workaround to permanently disable mousekeys shortcut shift
+num-lock, alt+shift+num-lock etc...

gksudo gedit /usr/share/X11/xkb/compat/complete
-or-
sudo nano /usr/share/X11/xkb/compat/complete

and comment out lines for mousekeys and accesx(full) (for full keyboard
accessibility purge)

resulting file /usr/share/X11/xkb/compat/complete:
// $XKeyboardConfig$
// $Xorg: complete,v 1.3 2000/08/17 19:54:34 cpqbld Exp $
default xkb_compatibility complete  {
include basic
augment iso9995
//augment mousekeys
//augment accessx(full)
augment misc
augment xfree86
augment level5
};

Wish you a lot happy days without moving mouse by keypad ;)
Greets Ondrej
