Personally I don't think people wanting to create a launcher to run a
custom program will know that they will need to run gnome-desktop-item-
edit to create a launcher. Isn't there any easier way to generate a
launcher? Even creating it as a menu entry for gnome-shell/unity and
then dragdropping

Text location field doesn't work and, for example, when you try to go to
/home it simply do nothing
Steps:
1. Choose create a new data CD
2. In the local file browser (in left panel) click on the button for being able
to write a patch
3. Put, for example, /home and press
Just, sent. Affected file in gnome-menus sources is
layout/applications.menu
This patch only affect to useless kde apps like KDE apps preferences
(kicker preferences, kwin preferences), other qt apps (like k3b,
kconverter, konqueror, kopete...) are not affected by this
