[Bug 923749] Re: New push mouse offscreen feature really difficult to get

Here is the key for launcher handling. First you have to push mouse
about 1.023,7cm. while using force betwen 0.327 and 0.524Nm of torque.

2012-02-06 Thread Pako
So what will RAOF do, make different drivers for every single computer
on the planet? You waste your time with childish experiments. The only
fix for this is to scale or shrink the window when launcher appears. I
have to repeat this over and over again. This is the only reasonable fix
for now from this guy. - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-

miles. With a launcher on the left and apps and folders search on the
fly, I do my job in 2 seconds. This is proven fact.

[Bug 532633] Re: [Master] Window Control buttons: position/order/alignment

2011-11-28 Thread Pako
To all right buttons advocates

Lets say tomorrow Ubuntu officials decide to turn back the buttons to the right
and after tomorrow you realize that Fedora fits better to you, or just
reinstall all of your computers with Windows because your girlfriend said so
and you'll do that with such an easy because you've never pay for Linux, leave
Ubuntu and never back again. So, do you think it's fair especially for
developers to meet your daily needs and wishes because of this?
You know what? I appreciate Clement Lefebvre has done with Linux Mint or Mark
with Ubuntu, he does not PULE for better customization, he build his own OS.

Right is better? Is better my a**!! Prove it scientifically and I'll
unsubscribe the same minute.

@ Bhaavan Merchant (bhaavanmerchant)
on APEing the mac.

Yes, and the launcher on the right is copied from Next OS back in 80's
and Apple's design is borrowed from the Braun's electronic devices made
in 60's + the system is based (copied) on Unix and Otto motor + 90% of
the things you are enjoy today are invented by Germans so that now can
be used (copied) by Japanese and others, so your statement about someone
copied some others design, is superficial.

[Bug 589141] Re: When scrolling in Totem 2.30.2 The scrollbar moves inconsistently

2010-06-04 Thread Pako
I apologize that I am late with answer. Here is the video I made so you
can see how the scrollbar jumps all over the bar when scrolling on my
touchpad. When music i paused the scroll behaves absolutely perfect, you
can also compare with older version of Totem or even with Karmic. Ok,
maybe is not a big deal, but is remarkable from aesthetic point of view.
Thanks!

[Bug 532633] Re: [Master] Window Control buttons: position/order/alignment

2010-04-25 Thread Pako
scholli, I will quote a part of a post from respected computer
journalist:

Here's another quick observation - at risk of stirring the pot on the
controversy about this change. While working with the RC last night, I
realized that I had already pretty much gotten used to the window button
location, and it wasn't disturbing me as much as it had been. In
addition, I see a small benefit in it because of the way that I normally
work with multiple windows, when I Maximize/Restore/Minimize windows,
the buttons tend to be more easily accessible, and seem a bit more
convenient. That is clearly a question of personal taste and work
habits, but my point is simply that this change is not the end of the
world as we know it

2010-04-03 Thread Pako
Mr. Jeff Burns, Firstly I want to apologise for my comment that I post
here some time ago. Let's analyse the computer users around the world.
INMO there are two kind of users in the world, If I'm wrong please
correct me. These are: The first one let we call them Geeks those are
the curious people who love exploring, programming and all about they
can do with their computers, there is no obstacle that can stop them,
they can use all type of OS-es. The second one are the, normal, average,
everyday users who even doesn't care what OS is in front of them, those
are the people who when receive an e-mail, they call their IT's and
complain that there is something wrong with their computer. So, that's
why there are experienced IT's who can help inexperienced users, Let me
ask you something, how would you make for a living as IT manager if
users has no problem at all?

In my case and I hope in many of yours, I never use the right scrollbar
since I'm able to use my touchpad scrollbar on my laptop, it is much
faster and more efficient and I use only my right hand instead of both
at once. For those who prefer to use the mouse they can find an option
in Firefox that allows to use the third button as scroll (unfortunately,
this option is not enabled by default in Firefox). With such adjusted
environment I do not use right scrollbar at all and I work much faster
and more efficient.

[Bug 532633] Re: [Master] Window Control buttons: position/order/alignment

2010-03-25 Thread Pako
The same this people or most of them proved that they doesn't respect
the look of Ubuntu no matter which version is, they 1622321 times
downloaded the Mac theme from gnome-look and thousands of other themes,
I'm pretty sure they will completely change the look of their desktop at
the moment 10.04 will come, even complained in the previous version that
they can't change the theme of GDM, (the dialog manager that last only 5
second on your desktop), proving again that they does not respect the
Ubuntu design. Did they care about new users? I don't think so!

2010-03-24 Thread Pako
Yann, maybe you are right, but not absolutely. If you read my previous
comments #304 and #308 (which I truly believe it has a point) You can
find the advantages in left side buttons, but claiming that left side
buttons are absolutely wrong placed, is non sense.

I was polite in most of my comments, I'm very sorry if I insult anyone
here.
