[Bug 987220] Re: System does not power off reliably when Shut Down chosen from GUI
Same problem on Mint 14 KDE (based on ubuntu 12.04), Using a HP 550 laptop. Shutdown results in end logo showing... indefenitly. I am not using nvidia drivers btw, i got one of the crappy intel chipsets. However, on my main system i dont have a problem with any ubuntu build. I'm suspecting some sort of incompatability. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/987220 Title: System does not power off reliably when Shut Down chosen from GUI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-session/+bug/987220/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Just noticed something... the wireless drivers. My problems start after installing both the linux-nonfree-firmware and the b34 drivers. [Bug 680829] [NEW] evince doesn't show watermark correctly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince Evince 2.32.0 doesn't show the watermark correctly. But xpdf 3.02 does show the watermark just fine. [Bug 297086] Re: Rhythmbox crashes after downloading a podcast
I am also having the same problem (with Intrepid). With the Intrepid updates of the last weeks, rhythmbox improved a little, but the problem is yet not solved. While downloading a podcast, my CPU is almost at 100%. This causes sometimes the user-interface of rhythmbox to crash, and sometimes rhythmbox completely crashes. If other processes are busy it is more likely that rhythmbox will crash. If multiple podcasts are downloaded, rhythmbox always crashes after the first one has been downloaded. More than one bug on launchpad mention this problem. They should be tied together? -- Rhythmbox crashes after downloading a podcast https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297086 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
