[Bug 580453] Re: Show desktop icon disappeared from taksbar

2010-06-01 Thread Paul Weiss
Ok, I figured out how to reproduce this problem. Turn off the power to
your computer without (hold down the power button for 4 seconds)
shutting it down from the menu. If you do this, the next time you start
up Ubuntu you will have the messed up panel icons.

How is this bug report incomplete? The only thing that I am missing is
the name of the package. Who knows what that is...

[Bug 574230] [NEW] Fully charged notification keeps on reappearing after battery charges about 4 times too many

2010-05-03 Thread Paul Weiss
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

I have an Asus notebook that I just installed Ubuntu 10.04 on. After
the battery charges, the notification pops-up that is fully charged.
The problem is that it fades out and then fades in again - doing this
about 4 times or more for 20 seconds or more. I expect the notification
to only pop-up once.

[Bug 399601] Re: File Roller 2.26.1 - clicking once on a file causes the file to stick to the cursor

2009-07-15 Thread Paul Weiss
Yes, this bug is reproducible.

Here are the steps you should take to reproduce it:

1. click on a file with in a compressed package

2. the file will get stuck to the cursor

The above will happen at random intervals, all be it - often.

[Bug 399601] [NEW] File Roller 2.26.1 - clicking once on a file causes the file to stick to the cursor

2009-07-14 Thread Paul Weiss
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: file-roller

This is a real annoying bug. At random times after opening a compressed
file, and clicking once on a file, the file gets stuck in double-click
and drag mode. If you leave the window with the file attached to the
cursor and click on the Desktop (for example), the file leaves the mouse
cursor, but as soon as you move the cursor inside the File Roller
window, it re-attaches itself. The only solution is to close File
Roller and restart it.
