EVERY SINGLE TIME when I try to close the Nautilus File Browser (ie when
I go to my Documents folder), the desktop flashes all the icons on the

Just the progress dialog. I can open another window and navigate thru.
That is how I got the 2 download streams in the attached jpg.
In both cases, it gets certain number of files and then stalls. If I try

Chris, appreciate your comment. As I said in my posting, I was not sure
what exact package might be causing the problem...I have been posting
that question at launchpad and ubuntuforums with no answer.

I run dual boot Win/Ubuntu environment. I recently updated my Karmic to
10.04 64-bit.
What I started noticing is that some time when I try to unmount my NTFS
partition I get a message that says:
It is now safe to remove your D Drive

I am not sure if this is gnome-session package, but this is what I am
suspecting. I booted with my older kernel 2.6.32-21 and also tried with
the LiveCD and it seams that it works OK and I do not the message, but
as well I never get the message when I unmount or eject USB attached
disk.
