[Bug 1799293] Re: gnome session: Must ask twice to lock the screen
> I have no Dash to Dock installed, so I cannot even try the workaround from #7. Ubuntu Dock is derived from Dash to Dock and abides by the same settings. You can change the transparency setting from the terminal with: gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock transparency-mode FIXED -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1799293 Title: gnome session: Must ask twice to lock the screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1799293/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1799430] Re: Icon dock visible on lock screen
The most common 18.10 stack trace I've seen people report is due to the transparency setting. However anything that triggers an exception in Dash to Dock when it is disabled on the lockscreen produces this issue so there are many possible causes. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues/237 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1799430 Title: Icon dock visible on lock screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-dashtodock/+bug/1799430/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1769383] Re: Ubuntu dock/launcher is shown on the lock screen
@jamesh your stack trace is caused by Ubuntu Dock's dynamic transparency which I mentioned before in Comment #17 and can be disabled with the following terminal command: gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.dash-to-dock transparency-mode FIXED -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1769383 Title: Ubuntu dock/launcher is shown on the lock screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1769383/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1224438] Re: Menus on evince black with grey text.
The root cause is the use of transparency in the Lubuntu-default theme. Can be fixed by editing: /usr/share/themes/Lubuntu-default /gtk-3.0/gtk-widgets-toolbar.css And replacing '@transparent' with '@bg_color'. Deleting the file altogether also seems to work with no apparent problems. Lubuntu Trusty Beta 2 no longer has this file and the buttons in evince have been removed in favor of a more traditional menu bar. ** Changed in: lubuntu-artwork Status: New = Fix Committed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1224438 Title: Menus on evince black with grey text.
