One more thing, this segmentation fault does not occur when only the partitions mounted at boot are mounted, if however another partition/drive is mounted then System Monitor loses it and starts segfaulting. [Bug 212884] [NEW] [Hardy] two screensavers do not function properly
Public bug reported: There are two screensavers that do not function properly:- 1) Floating Ubuntu 2) Braid 1) In this case there is no screensaver at all, just a blank screen with no activity going on, perhaps Floating Ubuntu is misplaced. 2) In this screensaver there is something more serious, when you try and preview the screensaver you suddenly get a massive increase in CPU usage(not the amount normally associated with GL screensavers) which in turn causes the PC to slow down so much that it makes you think it got stuck, you can return the PC back to normal by closing the Screensaver window as normal but a new user may not think like this. ** Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy] two screensavers do not function properly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212884 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
