@Leonidas, the PDF you attached works fine here. Hi Leonidas, Downgrading to libpoppler68=0.57.0-2ubuntu1 didn't solve the problem for me. I'm afraid I can't share the PDF I'm using. Public bug reported: After recent updates to Ubuntu 17.10 beta 2, evince no longer reads *some* PDFs. Interestingly, the previews in nautilus have been affected for those PDFs as well.
