[Bug 988097] Re: crash unity-scope-mythtv
I figured out the problem. When I upgraded to precise, totem did not upgrade properly and I was left with oneirc totem that was broken. After uninstalling all totem packages and reinstalling precise totem, everything works. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gstreamer0.10 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/988097 Title: crash unity-scope-mythtv To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gstreamer0.10/+bug/988097/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Re: [Bug 301915] Re: brasero intrepid audio cd creation fails to play
I was burning wav files to cd. I tried downgrading cdrao and wodim to hardy packages, gnomebaker, and k3b and none of the cds were playable. I did the same files on my hardy machine and brasero worked first time. Iso images seem to burn OK. I suppose it could be the drives. THe Intrepid machine has a new sata dvd burner and the hardy machine has a older ide dvd burner. I am recording cassettes from line in usng sound recorder. I then use audacity to resample them to 44100 and 16 bit stereo and wavbreaker to split them. When I burn the wav files to cd in intrepid the discs are not detected by a regular cd player or computer dvd drive. When I burn them in hardy, they work in both. I'd be good to know which files are presenting the issue and which aren't, thanks in advance. ** Changed in: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low Assignee: (unassigned) = Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: New = Incomplete -- brasero intrepid audio cd creation fails to play https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/301915 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. -- brasero intrepid audio cd creation fails to play https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/301915 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 301915] [NEW] brasero intrepid audio cd creation fails to play
Public bug reported: I have been trying to create an audio cd from wav files that were recorded from cassette tape. Despite careful editing with Audacity to make sure that rate and sample are 44100 and 16 bit and convert to stereo. The cd made with brasero 0.8.2-0ubuntu1 Intrepid does not play in any installed player or a standalone cd player. The same files used to create an audio cd on another computer running hardy with brasero 0.8.1-0ubuntu1 plays with out problems. [Bug 191889] Re: [MASTER] Offline Mode feature fails to detect proper online state for networks that are managed outside of network manager.
I can also confirm this problem with Firefox 3. I had to downgrade my uncle's computer to Firefox 2. He uses dialup and never had any problem before. Firefox 3 always starting offline was really confusing him. I hope this gets fixed soon. It is really tough for folks who have to use a modem anyway and this just makes it worse! -- [MASTER] Offline Mode feature fails to detect proper online state for networks that are managed outside of network manager. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/191889 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
