[Bug 881172] Re: Graphical errors on charts in resources tab (faded bands)

2011-11-30 Thread Riku Eskelinen
I am also affected by this bug, using gnome-system-monitor
3.2.1-0ubuntu1, with ATi Radeon HD 3450, fglrx and my CRT monitor
connected via DVI-VGA adapter to DVI output.

I don't know if gnome-system-monitor is the one to blame (could this be
due to some kind of color profile or subpixel hinting feature?), but
someone with more knowledge about this should really look into this.

[Bug 753587] [NEW] Bottom panel gets misplaced on every login

2011-04-07 Thread Riku Eskelinen
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I'm using natty and Gnome. I have three panels: two top panels and one
bottom panel. The bottom panel is not set to expand. When gnome-panel
starts up, the bottom panel appears in the middle of my desktop (see
attached screenshot gnome-panel_before_toggling.png).

I am able to get the panel back to its correct position by toggling
Expand on and off.

[Bug 633181] Re: brasero crashed with SIGSEGV in g_variant_new_va() when trying to create ISO from files

2010-09-10 Thread Riku Eskelinen
It seems that 2.31.91-0ubuntu2 fixes this issue. For me, at least.

[Bug 343806] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashes without clear error message

2009-03-17 Thread Riku Eskelinen
I was able to work around this bug by removing all hidden files in ~/.
Don't know which of them caused the bug, but those files were:.dmrc,
.esd_auth, .gksu_lock, .gtk-bookmarks, .ICEauthority, .mcoprc,
.mousetweaks.pid, .mtoolsrc, .pulse-cookie, .recently-used, .recently-
used.xbel, .Xauthority, .xscreensaver, .xscreensaver-getimage.cache and
.xsession-errors. I have backup of those, if anyone needs any of them.

[Bug 343806] [NEW] gnome-settings-daemon crashes without clear error message

2009-03-16 Thread Riku Eskelinen
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon

Since today, gnome-settings-daemon hasn't been able to start and
therefore themes etc don't work either. After running gnome-settings-
daemon --no-daemon --debug on terminal, the correct theme loads and is
displayed until line ** (gnome-settings-daemon:17444): DEBUG: Starting
font manager is shown. There is no progress for a second or two after
that, but then g-s-d proceeds.

Also, interesting part is the last line before g-s-d exits:
** (gnome-settings-daemon:17329): DEBUG: Crea.

I'm using gnome-settings-daemon version 2.24.0-0ubuntu3.3. Also, if more
details are needed, i'll be more than willing to help to fix this bug.
