I'm hitting this bug, with Rhythmbox from Debian Unstable (rhythmbox
0.10.1-1+b2, libgpod3 0.6.0-3) and an iPod Classic. All album artwork
is in ~/.rhythmbox and appears in the Rhythmbox UI, but none is
transferred to the iPod.

a fair amount of work, and isn't possible with the current
code. When various bits of SJ are rewritten, it might be possible, but
the web service has lots of magic which I'd have to reimplement so its
basically easier to just point the user at the web site.

SJ just does what you tell it, so your pipeline is incorrect. If there
are strange default values for certain parameters in the GStreamer
elements, file a bug with gstreamer.

From a Lenovo Thinkpad X60 that has broken brightness:
lshal|grep smbios.system
smbios.system.uuid = '0A7CB481-4866-11CB-A0AF-B3B7A2FEB98C' (string)
smbios.system.serial = 'L3B9444' (string)
smbios.system.version = 'ThinkPad X60' (string)
smbios.system.product = '17068GG' (string)
This is also required for the X60 and I imagine the X60s.
smbios.system.version = 'ThinkPad X60' (string)
Might be best to match on ThinkPad .6[0-9]s?...

Can you run a test in a terminal:
gst-launch-0.10 audiotestsrc num-buffers=10 ! gnomevfssink location=[some url]
Use the same url you used in SJ but add a filename, i.e.
location=sftp://remote.server/home/foo/test

Well in that case this bug should be re-assigned to gstreamer, as SJ is
reporting exactly what it is told.
It isn't totally broken as that pipeline happily works for me. I'm betting
that it wanted you to enter a ssh passphrase.

If seb doesn't feel like backporting patches I'll be doing a 2.14.1 this
