[Bug 727567] Re: Evince renders PDF incorrectly

2013-02-23 Thread Simon Dierl
I am still using 12.04 LTS; Evince 3.4 does still render parts
incorrectly. I don't know if Evince in 12.10 works.

[Bug 727567] Re: Evince renders PDF incorrectly

2011-06-17 Thread Simon Dierl
** Description changed:

When viewing the vector source PDF included in
http://www.ralfw.de/download/ccddesktops.zip, the PDF has several black
- areas which are intender to be coloured and the background layer is
+ areas which are intended to be coloured and the background layer is
white (compare the PNG files in the linked ZIP with the Evince
  screenshot).

The bug presumably originates in a rendering library, as GIMP PDF import
and the GNOME thumbnailer produce the same rendering defects.

Ghostscript (gs -sDEVICE=x11 ccdDesktopVectorImage.pdf) renders the file
  correctly.

[Bug 795932] Re: ICQ doesn't work since June 10, 2011

2011-06-11 Thread Simon Dierl
Same problem over here, what shows up in the log for haze:

clientLogin response statusCode was 440 (0): response
xmlns=https://api.login.aol.com;
  statusCode440/statusCode
  statusTextInvalid DevId/statusText
/response

Google-Fu indicates that the problem is existent among libpurple users
in general, Adium users apparently can't log in, too. Seems like ICQ
banned the DevId used by libpurple.

[Bug 539292] [NEW] highlighted brackets are printed with highlight

2010-03-15 Thread Simon Dierl
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gedit

When enabling matching bracket highlighting, the highlighted bracket
(the one that matches the marked bracket) is printed in highlighted
colours. This requires syntax highlighting to be active in the print
settings. Since the bracket highlighting does not convey any useful
information without a cursor present, it should not be present in the
print.

The error can be seen in the print preview, too.

PDF print for ?xml version=1.0 encoding=UTF-8 ? attached (the ''
was highlighted in the editor).

Reproduced with gedit 2.28.0 (pkg version 2.28.0-0ubuntu2) on Ubuntu
9.10.

** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 122010] Nautilus crashes when opening multimedia file properites

2007-06-24 Thread Simon Dierl
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

When opening properties of a single multimedia file (actually, every
time an audio or audio/video tab would have been displayed), nautilus
crashes with code 0177. Totem (totem-gstreamer) has no problem
displaying these information.

System:
Ubuntu 7.10
nautilus package version: 1:2.19.4-0ubuntu1
