If I add a directory to search in, in my case 'gajim', I always get results from 'gajim-trunk' and all other directories beginning with 'gajim' (the dirs being one level above with gajim in their name get displayed as well). It seems like the dir is added to the beagle search and therefore does substring search as well? The directories are in my home dir like this: ~ -- gajim -- gajim_trunk -- ... Ok, seems like it's not as simple, not all files have the problem as stated above. [Bug 45619] loading of icons in application menu happens after opening it - entries move away
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel When opening the application menu for the first time after starting the system, icons for every entry get loaded. All entries are displayed without icons at first, so I select a submenu which opens but shortly after, all the icons are getting displayed and the sizes change, so the submenu is at another place and my mouse cursor is hovering over another menu. I think it will get in the way in a normal workflow. looks like at least one qt app does not have the issues. [Bug 41604] search field on top doesn't produce expected results
Public bug reported: Affects: yelp (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: When searching with yelp after opening an application manual, the search gives results from all content in yelp, way too much.
