I've just had the issue happen to me again, but this time I made sure to
check that the middle mouse button stops responding, as well as the
mouse wheel. When the hang is happening, the only button that will
respond is the secondary button. Additionally, when I press the
secondary button, no menu

Currently, mounted drives using gvfs appear in the .gvfs folder. This is hidden
by default, and there is no indication to the user where to find it, which is
actually quite appalling for new users.

Mounted Drives rather than navigate to ~/.gvfs

I have restarted my box since noticing this error, now I cannot connect
to any samba shares with gvfs... It just sits on 100% CPU. If I kill the
process I get:

I noticed in Maverick when you load up gnome terminal it's not 80x24. Instead
it's 80x22. I went into the profile properties and changed it to 80x24 by
default, and lo! a new window was 80x22. So I decided to set the default to
80x43,
