[Bug 641419] [NEW] evolution: error refreshing folder 'INBOX' in 10.10 beta
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution I wanted to check my mail before logging out and I clicked on the Send/Receive button. But instead of getting new messages, I lost most of my messages in the inbox. Before there was 100 messages and after the error only 15. Before installing 10.10 beta, I had no problems with my mail, so I'm guessing that the problem is with evolution. When the messages disappeared, there was small red hexagon with a white cross inside it at the bottom left which said something about an error. I clicked on it and a box appeared saying: Error while Refreshing folder 'INBOX'. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution This has never happened to me before transition to Maverick beta (64bit). Now this happens something like half the time I start evolution and when it does most of the messages in the affected account's inbox just disappear, both read, unread and new. I see a flash of them before they are gone, the messages return (I see them again) when evolution starts up without giving me this error message. [Bug 636980] [NEW] evolution keeps mail unread in 10.10 beta
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Evolution does not mark mail as read in ubuntu 10.10 beta. The message font stay bolded and the star in the envolope doesn't disappear even after 1.5 seconds, which is the default time. When you try to choose from the Message - Mark As - Read (Ctrl+K), it is greyd out. All the mail I have received after 10.10 beta installation and restoring evolution from backup seems to remain unread in certain folders. However in other folders marking them as read works fine. All accounts are IMAP so there's no difference there.
