After upgrade from 12.04 to 14.04 i had the same problem.

I try this solution to fix the problem with NumLock

cryptsetup 1.1.2
Problem still exists.

I have the last Ubuntu (8.04) installed, and Evolution cannot send any
email. I tried to set up 4 different accounsts that usually work with
smtp, but with no result. I tried SSl encryption and many other things,
but nothing.
