[Bug 281217] Re: evolution calendar does not work on a *x600 resolution

2008-11-04 Thread TheGurke
So I have upgraded to intrepid now.

The problem still persists, but in the meantime I have found a
workaround (which also works on hardy):

If you check View/Switcher Appearance/Hide Buttons the minimum size of
the window seems to shrink and it can be properly maximized on the
screen. However my opinion is that this should be done by default on an
*x600 resolution.

[Bug 281217] Re: evolution calendar does not work on a *x600 resolution

2008-10-22 Thread TheGurke
Yes, it happens after I switch to the calendar. Before that everything
works fine.

When I disable compiz, the window no loger moves on every click, but it
is still larger than the screen, so there is stuff missing at the
bottom.

I don't have Intrepid yet, I can tell you about that when it's released.

[Bug 281217] [NEW] evolution calendar does not work on a *x600 resolution

2008-10-10 Thread TheGurke
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I own a netbook with screen resolution 1024x600 on which I installed
ubuntu 8.04 with newest updates.

The mail, contact, memo and task view in evolution work fine with this
resolution, however the calendar view seems to assume a larger screen so
there is a part of the window missing at the bottom that I cannot
reach.

When I maximize the window, it moves down and up a few pixels, which
results in the title bar being either normally visible or out of view at
the top of the screen (see screenshots). This switches whenever I click
on the window, so I miss the object I wanted to click on.

Thanks in advance for your help.
