[Bug 1788380] Re: gnome-software crash at startup: Gs failed to call gs_plugin_add_updates_historical on fwupd
Indeed the last update solved this issue, gnome-software now works fine. It also doesn't output any message on the terminal anymore. If the problem was to happen again I will follow your instructions and upload the backtrace. [Bug 1786268] [NEW] EOG crashes while opening a large file
Public bug reported: While opening a large file (eg, >8MB jpeg file), EOG segfaults with the following error: -- (eog:16768): Gdk-ERROR **: 15:24:55.294: The program 'eog' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'. (Details: serial 1790 error_code 11 request_code 130 (MIT-SHM) minor_code 5) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
