FYI, the bug still exists in Karmic 9.10 Gnome panel 2.28.0. It happens
when I have the panel non-maximized, in the upper middle part of the
screen. The application Notification Area will move around at boot up
or when waking up from hibernation. The handle on the Notification Area
doesn't allow
I have this bug on Karmic as well, with an OpenOffice spreadsheet.

This is still affecting me in Evolution 2.28.1.
The same system I mentioned before has been updated to Karmic Kuala 9.10.
I tried to go through Help - Report a problem to attach a debug log. The
website, however, loses the debug log when you choose an existing bug.
