I removed it, but I still have the same behavior. I suspect that there must be something left from the installation under ubuntu 10.04. Go to any folder and hit the search documents and folders by name button in nautilus. Without actually typing anything (them same happens if you type something), it comes up with various results, which I don't know with what criteria chooses, nor in which folder it actually searches. In my case, just below the address toolbar it also displays this: Image (1), Audio (2), Video (3), Document (10).
