[Bug 2038409] [NEW] package gdm3 42.0-1ubuntu7.22.04.3 failed to install/upgrade: installed gdm3 package pre-removal script subprocess returned error exit status 5
Public bug reported: I had an issue with on-board amd graphic which Ubuntu was not able to use the graphic properly for two monitors and couldn't provide a high resolution for those monitors. I changed GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT value in /etc/default/grub file to: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash amdgpu.sg_display=0" and it solved my graphic issue. [Bug 1909497] [NEW] package gdm3 3.36.3-0ubuntu0.20.04.2 failed to install/upgrade: installed gdm3 package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 10
Public bug reported: Hi - Such errors started to happen during software updates after I had accidentally deleted my boot partition and restored it using the Ubuntu installation CD. So, the issue is unlikely a bug. Right now, the system is up and running the applications I use correctly. Nevertheless, I believe some of the functionality of OS has been compromised. For example, there are missing icons on "Show Applications".
