Can confirm this with GDM, without haveged, on a Lenovo Thinkpad S440: - with kernel 4.15.0-24, GDM comes up after several minutes - if I wiggle the touchpad, in a dozen seconds - with kernel 4.15.0-23, immediately (no issue)
Strangely, I recall that when I first experienced this issue a couple days ago, it seemed to happen with -23 at least once, causing me to fall back further onto -20.
