Hi David, Yes, NVIDIA with TwinView. Nothing in my xsession-errors about UScreen at all. I renamed the old one, logged out and then back in again and ran the System- Settings-Displays and attached the resulting xsession-errors here. See anything interesting in there? ** Attachment added:

OK, I fixed it. Somehow my NVIDIA drivers were messed up. I removed all nvidia drivers (nvidia-current et al) and reinstalled them. Upon reboot my launcher is back in the middle of the display surface (left side of right monitor) and Unity 3D is back. what the heck happened there? john -- You
