Oddly enough, I had this bug 2 days ago but after having updated my oneiric system it is now working fine. My case is an Ubuntu system with Dvorak, international variant, no dead keys as keyboard layout, connecting to a Windows2008 server with a French layout. Could you please try with all

Fedora had a similar bug (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=500163) which is shown closed upstream. The only difference is the use of option -f. And the fact is that using this option is another option to work-around this issue. But it does not seem satisfactory given the fact that
