[Bug 377322] Re: my sftp conncection breaks spontaneously after a while, I have to re-login to fix it.
Agreed. The lack of a reliable SCP function in nautilus renders Ubuntu virtually useless for some software development tasks. The level of annoyance created by this bug cannot be overstated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/377322 Title: my sftp conncection breaks spontaneously after a while, I have to re- login to fix it. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 377322] Re: my sftp conncection breaks spontaneously after a while, I have to re-login to fix it.
I'm having the same problem. It makes it hard to work on a file from a remote machine over a long period of time. If I look away for even a short time gedit will freeze and I'll have to wait for it to time out before I can continue working on my code. I can provide any additional information required. -- my sftp conncection breaks spontaneously after a while, I have to re-login to fix it. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/377322 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 10686] Re: No GUI method to disable screen lock on lid close event
Yes, it does still occur in Lucid. When selecting suspend from the menu, it still prompts as always. -- No GUI method to disable screen lock on lid close event https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/10686 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 573607] Re: Totem won't play XVID mpeg 4 files
#10 fixed it for me too. -- Totem won't play XVID mpeg 4 files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/573607 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gstreamer0.10 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 10686] Re: No GUI method to disable screen lock on lid close event
@gideon07 Yes...you are right. When I go to the user menu to suspend, it locks the screen on resume. But when I use the power button which is configured to suspend, it respects the setting in gconf-editor in #19. -- No GUI method to disable screen lock on lid close event https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/10686 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 10686] Re: No GUI method to disable screen lock on lid close event
I have have this problem with every Ubuntu since 8.04. Still just as annoying on 9.10. Using gconf-editor as described in #19 worked. Still think there should be GUI for this in the gnome-power-preferences dialog. -- No GUI method to disable screen lock on lid close event https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/10686 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
