This was a terrible idea to remove the customization and preferences feature.
I have a netbook and the notifications take up WAY too much space on the screen. A simple menu to make them smaller would have been a great idea. It's a shame to see a useful feature removed because "the preferences menu was crammed." I'm pretty sure others have the same problem with this... And it's a shame, since I know ubuntu is trying to appeal to the netbook market. Could you please tell me how to "reenable it with alacarte?" Is alacarte a program or "À la carte". If it is À la carte, then, what is the name of the package? -- do not put notification preferences in the preferences menu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/301766 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to notification-daemon in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
