[Bug 642877] Re: Gnome-panel doesn't start upon login
I'm having this problem or at least a very similar problem. I am also using 10.10 (natty). Expected behavior: gnome-panel is supposed to start up automatically on startup. Observed: I am also not seeing the gnome-panel startup on login. I have to start the gnome-panel manually. If I start gnome-panel manually, everything works as expected. Attaching my ~/.xsession-errors file. [Bug 363558] Re: gnome-system-monitor renice causes close
Hew, yes it seems fixed for me in Lucid also. Does that mean this ticket is fix committed or fix released? Since Lucid isn't released I'm not sure if this counts as released or not. -- gnome-system-monitor renice causes close https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/363558 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 465349] Re: /etc/gdm/Xsession does not call /etc/X11/Xsession
Removing the file /etc/X11/Xsession.d/99x11-common_start did not work for me. My workaround was to add: STARTUP=$HOME/.xsession to /etc/X11/Xsession.d/99x11-common_start but that will give you an error if you *don't* have an .xsession file. -- /etc/gdm/Xsession does not call /etc/X11/Xsession https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/465349 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
