[Bug 2047737] [NEW] Nautilus crashes when opening folders that contain files with js or json extensions

2023-12-30 Thread Arash Farr
Public bug reported:

After attempting to open a folder that contains js or json files the app
crashes.
when testing from terminal I get a segmentation fault and no other error info.
even enabling G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all did not provide additional info.
removing nautilus extensions, resetting xdg-mime for js/json, and disabling
nautilus features (search, file count, etc ...) did not fix the problem either.

[Bug 1653437] [NEW] Xubuntu's "Software" does not run!

2017-01-01 Thread Arash Partee
Public bug reported:

Hello,
When for the first time I clicked on a Xubuntu's application named "Software",
it encountered an error and was unable to start.
I used Software Updater to update "Software". It was updated successfully.
(version: 3.20.1+git20161013.0.d77d6cf-0ubuntu2~xenial1) I restarted. When I
clicked on Software, the waiting sign began to turn but again Software did not
start.

[Bug 8839] Unable to edit an mp3 tag

2007-06-02 Thread Arash
Hi. I'm using Edgy and I tried editing the Genre of a particular mp3 and
it fails with the error:

Error while saving song information
Internal GStreamer problem; file a bug

I tried again, and then the crash file creator popped up and said
Rhythmbox had crashed (it didn't, but whatever) and it brought me to
this page. I've attached the generated crash file.

** Attachment added: Crash file

[Bug 80799] Re: Gnome Panel applets crashing

2007-03-01 Thread Arash Hemmat
I had the same problem while i installed xpenguins applet with synaptic
on edgy then when i added the applet to the panel, gnome panel freezed
and became unusable restarting gdm and restarting the computer did not
solve the problem and at last i fixed it by uninstalling the xpenguins
applet using synaptic.
