[Bug 779959] Re: evince fails on graph.ps file, display comes up and immediately disappears
please mark this bug as solved or non-reproducable. i have gotten back to the original system that i was having the problem on and it now works correctly. i am not sure that updates since the bug was filed have corrected a system problem. sorry to be of a bother. your valuable time is appreciated. chuck -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779959 Title: evince fails on graph.ps file, display comes up and immediately disappears -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

oops. ps file is produced with gnuplot and the graph.gp is input command file to gnuplot. run as gnuplot graph.gp then evince graph.ps -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779959 Title: evince fails on graph.ps file, display comes up and immediately disappears -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 779959] Re: evince fails on graph.ps file, display comes up and immediately disappears
After filing the bug report I have moved 200km from the original computer. I have another computer (this one that I am typing this in) and I checked the attached graph.ps from Marcel and it displays on this system correctly. I diffed Marcel's graph.ps with the one I generated and they are the same. So the problem seems to be system dependent and I will recreate the issue on the other system on Wednesday. They both are dual AMD processors and I have to check the graphics system to tell what the difference is. This is system is a lenovo system and the other is a system I put together from a different mobo, but it too is a dual AMD processor system. At least I think so. I have too many systems. :-) Hang tight and I will add to the thread. Both are running 11.04 with updates, so there is no difference on the software. Same 2.32.0 version of evince. thanks for your patience, chuck -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/779959 Title: evince fails on graph.ps file, display comes up and immediately disappears -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
