[Bug 713054] [NEW] f-spot: Unhandled Exception
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot Whe I try to start f-spot I only receive Unhandled Exception: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at Hyena.SafeUri..ctor (System.String uri) [0x0] in filename unknown:0 at FSpot.Driver.Main (System.String[] args) [0x0] in filename unknown:0 I already did a dpkg-reconfigure f-spot and I also deleted the config files but no effect. Please let me know if further information is needed. There is a bug report concerning this issue: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/651008 Since it awaits fixing a workaround is to edit /usr/lib/pm- utils/power.d/wireless due to the desired behaviour. [Bug 30640] Re: displayed progress not correct when copying files to an usb stick
This effect appears not only when copying any data to or from an USB stick. I observe this behaviour also when I zip an archive. For me this is very annoying because the progress bar gives no information about when any operation is finished. For what is such a progress bar useful? Where can I get the information about finishing the copy or archiving process? At the moment I press F5 in Dolphin every few seconds to see if the filesize is still changing...
